PFL returns to Chicago on Friday, October 16th, with a championship rematch headlining a 14-fight card at Wintrust Arena. Liz Carmouche and Jena Bishop will meet again, this time to determine the inaugural PFL Women’s Flyweight World Champion.

A title rematch with history

Carmouche and Bishop first fought in the 2025 PFL World Tournament final, where Carmouche stopped Bishop in the third round. Since then, Bishop has won twice by first-round submission, while Carmouche has continued her strong form. Their rematch gives Bishop a chance to avenge that defeat—and gives both fighters the opportunity to become the division’s first PFL world champion.

The title is also the first new championship introduced by the promotion since its merger with Most Valuable Promotions, adding extra significance to the main event.

Khizriev faces Braga again

The featherweight co-main event is another rematch: undefeated Timur Khizriev meets Gabriel Braga. Khizriev is 18–0 and returns after a lengthy recovery from an armed attack and broken hand. Braga, 17–3, will look to reverse the result of their previous closely contested split decision and put himself back in the title picture.

The rest of the main card features Sarvarjon Khamidov vs. Rafael do Nascimento, unbeaten Oualy Tandia vs. JP Saint Louis, and Emiliano Sordi vs. Abraham Bably.

With a new title to claim and two rematches at the top of the bill, PFL Chicago gives several contenders a chance to make a defining statement in front of the Chicago crowd.
